I was overweight since I was a child, so could I really achieve weight loss? I had a back injury in 2003, which didn’t even allow me to lay on the floor to complete a sit-up. I was in an unhealthy relationship and became complacent with my weight gain. I was now OBESE- 5′ 2″ and 239 lbs!!! I wanted to lose weight, yet, I had a list of excuses to hold me back. I decided that I no longer wanted to be a statistic! I started off slowly with Yoga in June 2009, introduced swimming, and then challenged myself with cardio machines. When I least expected it, weights became a passion. John at Nutrishop Torrance introduced me to the world of supplements, vitamins, and meal planning. Protein, BCAA, Glutamine, fish oil, and the list goes on. Many women fear weights and supplements, but I am down 97 pounds as a result of these changes. At 142 lbs, I aim for additional weight loss and new fitness goals keep me motivated daily! |

Ronda stopped into to Nutrishop to get started on a weight loss nutrition and supplementation plan. She has used Weight Watchers in the past with good results but would like to continue on her weight loss journey. Jerome Gregory is one of our success stories for the month of March. Jerome is on his quest to loose 100lbs and we are fully supporting his Journey. After realizing that it was time for a change, I commited myself to working out again and got on a diet.
